This is the second time this has happened, but I created two labels via the USPS website, one to ship to John, the other for the return shipping. When the label is printed (after I paid), it shows on the label that a signature is required. This happened last month as well. At first, I thought I selected this option by mistake when creating the label, but this month, I'm sure I did not select it, and certainly not in both directions. I do, however, put insurance on the package as it only cost a few dollars. Firstly, I hope this is not an inconvenience for John and company, in case no one is around to receive the package, but I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else and how do I not have this as a selected option. The help provided by the USPS regarding their website is second to none. That's sarcasm folks, in case you were wondering.

I did not insure mine and no signature was required. I bet that's the culprit. I'm sure many are insuring the cars being sent, John seems to have this thing figured out, I'm sure glad I'm not in his shoes on race day! Good Luck B Regal, Cant wait to see your cars run after hearing you've found some consistency. Thanks again for all your help and advice.

Same thing here. I have absolutely made sure that the "sig required" is NOT checked and yet it prints as sig required. I also always insure the package both ways. I ASSUME it is because of insurance. Don't want to be a PITA but also think that insurance is needed. I sent in 6 cars this month and would hate to have to replace everything ($$).

I put $150.00 on mine and tracking information, no signature required. Been shipping USPS this way for a few years. The hardest thing for me was getting use to the USPS program.
