With the national race on us in June, who's going to man up and enter a Street Rod? With the rule changes the playing field has been leveled. I don't know if we can run down Stonecold or Spirit but I am going to give it a try. The old street rod is getting some modifications and will be on the track!! I am just hoping that Stonecold and Spirit focus on some different classes!

Well I think I found a few more MPH to try to catch Stonecold. Been running on rear bent axle. Replaced and ready to rumble !!!!!!! Looking forward to seeing what everyone brings to the big showdown at Nationals.....SPIRIT.............Also working on the RESO shipping box method for my cars...... My new ELIMINATOR got drop shipped to the Spring Race and broke a wheel and it will be ready for Nationals. Looking forward to racing you guys in June.

Team-K PM Opa, he has some imformation on a post here somewhere , I just could not find it. He also is offering a complete set-up soon, if not all ready , of a Street Rod Kit. It would really speed up the process for you, because it is a real challeging build. I have spent about a year and half figuring mine out, to get the most out of it. And I am still trying to get more speed from it....It is FUN... SPIRIT.........

http://forums.derbydad4hire.com/post/New-Street-Stock-rule-amendments-5818890

Go to this site and look at the pictures on page 4.
Instructions are also on that same posting.

I don't have time to do any more prior to the June Championship race, but just take a predrilled block form DD4H, but with 5 1/2 wheel spacing.
Use 3/8" balsa, and paste it all around the wood block, so it is larger than the body. Then cut off the excess lexan on the bottom of the body, and set it on the block, draw the image, then sand or cut the balsa to fit the body.
HERE IS A GOOD IDEA.
Buy one of DD4H's "4 on the floor blocks", and save a lot of time tuning the car.
You also have got to check that the nose of the car does not touch the track when the car hits the transition point on the track.
