Here is my question and I hope someone can help. We are making a car for mid America and bout the 1g mid America wheel with spacers. With the spacers on, how do you relube the car without removing the wheel? Do you leave a larger than normal gap? I don't see how i can add graphite to the car with the spacers. Please help!!

Burnish the graphite into the wheel bores along with or after red rocket (John's polish #2) wax coating using a 9200 diameter rod or drill blank (polish it to 12K before use). Use pledge (lemon) on axles before assembly the graphite sticks to them better and stays on longer. With gaps as tight as 0.01-0.015 it's impossible to add graphite after assembly with rear wheels reversed and spacer + 2 Delrin washers for clearance for MA setup (3 degree cant in rear). I add John's graphite into the reversed wheel and axle setup before inserting and spin 15 times, tap the wheel while holding the axle with the nail down, add graphite tap and spin repeat for 10-15 mins. Then insert the wheel and blow off excess graphite. I usually get 10-15 good runs on my graphite setup. Never relubed for MA finals last year as my sons car was proxy racing. Don't forget to spin and break-in the graphite before sending it in.

That's very very good I formation. About the best straight forward answer I have seen. Maglev

Just be careful when you burnish in the graphite. Those 1g wheels are delicate. Be careful with the amount of pressure, they can crack.
