Sudden Temptation( Street Pro,Street Stock)

What's the pink bottle behind the alcohol and next to NOVUS2 bottle. Plus nice cars I think I might try making one of those.

That's a 3 oz can of jig.

Thanks "jator" what is sad is I knew what everything else was on the table, but that. Even with the bottles turned the opposite direction. OH this hobbies got me good

I tried a new process for nationals... it was really fast at the house. But wasn't good for proxy racing.. out of 7 cars 2 cars prep held up. The other didn't hold up. But we all have trial and error. The stuff in the DD4H oil bottle is something I been messing with but only holds up so far for 3-4 days. The blue bottle is a reprep and the red is red rocket, and the other is Novus in a squeeze bottle. I'm gonna start testing in a few weeks to see how this new prep gonna hold up

Copy that! I'm playing with exotic woods this summer. I throw it in between "projects" for my wife so I can justify power tool purchases!

JB, I also see you use the glide board too. Do you do anything special to it. I have tried before on other cars and I have had issue with it.

Also your just cutting out the whole backend and using balsa to cover the top and the bottom or just the top and using Aluminium tape on the bottom. I think I remember seeing the bottom of your car on another topic. Sorry 1 more think do you cut out the center with a scrolls or band saw? Your cars are a very interesting build, I noticed them at the last race and was curious of the cutting method. Thanks JB.

I use really thin plywood to cover rear. I use label sheets to over the bottom. The foil is to heavy. I use a dremel to cut out the center and rear. What are u talking about glide boards?? You talking about the inserts where the wheels meets the body. ? Slide glide. If so there really funny how you install them.. if there not straight and square it will bind the wheel on DFW, rears not a issue they don't touch.

Sorry, I meant Slide glide board. Ya one of my previous builds I had some serious issues with it. I used the slide glide with teflon washer on the rear and it was not a good result. Also what to do mean by Label sheets?

I'm interested in seeing a step by step build for the 45 degree NDFW with fender for a street stock

This is my first try and build with this type of car. I plan on building another. It was about 3000th slower than my other cars but I figured out why.. So I plan on building another.. but just a FYI I don't think the 45 degree wheels is where the speed is... I think there is more to JB's cars that kick our ass all year.. lol I think the fender and wheel is just a cover up cause that what everyone see's first..

My dad was saying the same thing. He does not think its the wheel/fender either. I personally think JB is an alien and is using some kind of extra terrestrial mumbo jumbo to bust into the 2.94's in Street Stock. But that's just me. I could be wrong.

LOL, OK you leave me with more question. What's the tooth brush for?
