yep it does make big different that's why I said that. What if u rolled down a window in your truck doing 100mph? wind has to go somewhere. you want a smooth air flow like a airplane wing. think corvette!!

I believe District is about a 32 foot track, for what it's worth.
Wow, .02 is a pretty large amount, IMO.bracketracer said:Pacfanweb said:Okay, then. You guys think it'll make that much difference? I race on a 32' wooden track. I bet that hole would slow you about .020 sec if left uncovered.
Cool car!
Hole taped, and car passed inspection and is in impound, ready to race Saturday.speed bump said:Is that a open hole on the car? If so cover it with clear tape. That will help some.
Pacfanweb said:Hole taped, and car passed inspection and is in impound, ready to race Saturday. Prepped with Red Rocket today, and I must say it is slick. When I burnished with graphite, it barely left any behind like it usually does. One axle looked bad so had my son polish up a new one. The inspection is lame. You could probably run lightened wheels and oil without a problem. But we have legal stuff, so maybe we'll have it tuned better. We'll see.
Too bad the track wasn't longer...the end was where he was really pulling away from everyone. I think the margin would have been a good bit larger if they had another 10' to go.
