I just wanted to thank everyone again for all the information I have got on here. I posted a couple weeks ago that my son won his pack derby. We had the council championship last week for the top 3 racers out of all the council packs and he took first in that also. Then we had and all scout championship for all cub scouts and girls scouts and he took 1st place in that. I also helped a friends daughter with her pwderpuff derby car a couple weeks ago and she took 1st in her troop then took 1st overall in the county also. We still have a lot to learn but we have came a long way in the last couple years since finding this forum. Thanks again for all the help!

Send it to Nationals in Omaha, NE (Mid-America). It's fun to see how a car stacks up against the largest PWD race for scouts in the country. And you can watch a live feed of the race at home. Make sure you use proper shipping methods though.....
I think I am going to do that. I know I'm probably a long ways from being competitive with that kind of competition but it will still be fun to see how it does compared to some top cars. I think I am going to add some fenders to it first to try and get a little more speed hopefully. Maybe some wheel covers also.
