Thinking about building a Street Stock AM car

Red Rocket
Front Fenders
Axle and wheel bore polishing kit
Derlin washers
Get one of the axles bent
Are you doing your block, if not get one from John and have it drilled for you.

I have the red rocket, bore polish, block and will probably make my own Fenders, i have some Teflon sheets I'm going to try. Are the Derlin washer better? And what is the standard wheel base with fenders in front and back? When they say Stock they don't mean stock wheelbase do they?

Thanks

My new street stock is 5in. and the front fenders fit just right. I would go over 5 1/4 fitting fenders on the front might be tricky. Get that car finished and join us this month for the race.

5" is the max wheelbase assuming that the rear axle placement is at 5/8" from the rear. Anything more than 5/8" and you have to subtract that amount from the wheelbase to still have room for a GEE Fender. Super small fenders ahead of the front wheel are tough to build, but can be done.
