Corvids a lot like an outdoor cat, might disappear for lengths at a time for various reasons but there's a good chance of an eventual return unless a coyote or bobcat eats him.

Looks like the critters did not get him after all. I see he's back...

Besides a couple nics and bruises I'm none worse for the wear. The critters weren't much a threat but I actually wouldn't have minded encountering a cougar/images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif
