I am going to be lost without my compressor there if I have to do any wheels or bearing work. My PWD compressor just died today, but nobody would tolerate that in a hotel. What are you guys taking with to Nationals - 12v air pump, a dozen cans of air, mini something ... ? What works best ?

LOL. I have been using my vacuum that I can connect the hose at the exhaust and use the crevice attachment. I also tape that hole even smaller to really get the air concentrated. I think your best option is canned air unless someone local brings a compressor to share.

Ive got a pancake portable compressor I could bring but at the event venue there isn't a good place to set it up for you all, and at motel....well that's just asking for a early check out lol

No worries John. I will have built and hopefully tested what I plan to run, except for one car that I will have last minute wheels for. Its pretty rare that I would be live, so just wondering what some guys do.

I am just trying to warn everyone that it won't be like it usually is at Nationals where there is a lot of work going on the day before the race. From what I remember of the venue, it is a very nice place and not going to be a place they want us spraying jig and such...

Don't know about everyone else, but there will be a lot of prepping and building back at the hotel room.

Sure love to be a fly on the wall when that happens...

Now's your chance for a little Derby espionage. /images/boards/smilies/wink.gif

Stephen, if I drive the truck, I can have a tuning board with me. If not, we can slip over to wally world and pick up a long mirror for a few bucks.

I hope someone is bringing a tuning board?

Kinser, that's my plan also. I've only attended one live race, but I messed with only one car, my SP, and killed it at MOTM. I know Benji can speak to his experience with re-prepping his SP Krystal there also. I will bring some emergency supplies, but live with what I brought for the most part!

I have never attended a live race, but when I mess with a car 24hrs before I ship it, I usually do more harm than good.
