Tried to post a pic.

I go to post a picture and it asks for my URL#.. How do I post em..

I think a lot of us use photobucket. If you have an account then first open both sites and from the photobucket site click the the pic you want to post and then just click the "IMG" code on the right of the screen and it will say copied, then in the tool bar above move the mouse to the flower looking icon the fourth from the smilie face, click that and a window will open, In that space right click and paste the IMG code...here is the tricky part at the beginning and the end you have to delete the

I do it just like above except I click on the "direct link" option on photobucket, the right click and paste on the tool bar here.

So if you dont use photobucket you cant post a pic?

I am sure there are other ways of posting a pic, I just dont know what they are. I do know that buy just right clicking and copying and trying to paste would not work for me. Let us know if you find something other than photobucket...

Nah.... There are other ways.... You can create a free website and spend a bunch of time writing about how insanely addicted you are to pwd derby and post a bunch of pictures on it.... then you can grab the pictures URL and post the picture here...

Really you just need the picture to be posted somehow on the internet so it has a URL. Photobucket works and is free, but I think there is a limit to the free version and how much you can have downloaded into your account. I might be wrong.... I pay nothing for my website and I have tons of starage. Everybody can easily create a website and they would be able to download and post pictures very easily.

So I just created a new website here: http://pinewoodderby.webs.com/

Now I can right click on the picture on that first page of the new website and click "properties" and then copy the Address or URL and then come here and start a post and click the little tree for posting an image and paste in that address I copied from the picture on the new website and post it here like below...

You can basically just use your website as a photobucket account and hide all but the front page.... or you can blog about other racers and crazy things your try... you can show the pwd derby world how you support that league or this league or that one again or both of them. Good stuff... Who got me started with this website thing anyway? Oooooh now I remember
