well here it is just a few days before the next race......... and I still don't have my car completed....... going to try and pull a late night tonight to see if I can get it done. hopefully I can make some headway with it and at least get it to the tuning board. I don't have high hopes but will take it as it comes. Its a recipe for disaster, trying too many new things at once....... I'm my own worst enemy

My advice is, do not search for speed, but rather, strive for repeatability. Speed will be a natural byproduct. When changing something, do it to an existing car to eliminate variables.

car is in the mail... going to get registration taken care of and see what happens. what's funny is that I will not be able to watch the live feed because I have a scout camp this weekend and will not have internet cell signal is sketchy at best. ill just think positive thoughts and hope for the best it can do. its still exciting

I used my tuning board. set the steer for what I thought was good and shipped it the next day (the steer was NOT good). im still very new to this level and still have a lot to learn

When you get some of that extra weight off of the FDW, that will be where you want to start at. I have cars that I have raced that are both north and south of 4" over 4'.

I'm in the same boat with you M2/S2. When I got my car back, it had marks on the side of the body where the FDW had rubbed against it.

my car must be taking the scenic tour cause it has not made it home yet. Hope it comes in tomorrow. Once again with the way my work schedule is starting to develop I will have a very short time to make corrections / new car for the April race.
