Anyone else seeing weird or lack of tracking info on their shipments this week ?

Seems like tracking info stopped a couple of days ago for me (and USPS changed my 2-day delivery to a 3-day delivery and now counting ...). The system was actually offline for a little while today.

Hmm. My tracking number shows the package is still here in STL. But it's not unusual for the tracking info to not update until the package is delivered so I'm not concerned....yet!

Was it like this last year after Black Friday ? I have some foggy memories.

Anyway, my box has been found, it's now in SLC with an official "In-Transit, Delayed" designation and a statement that there is no delivery date yet. So after 4 days, they still don't know when it will get to Skippy's place ?!?! But after the great finish to the Packer's game last night, all is well in WI !

As of 2PM according to USPS tracking, my second shipping box that contains my bearing car is still in route to Utah. Not looking good for Friday delivery!

It is now three days in the mail. I mailed on Tuesday and the shipping label said 2 day delivery!

After a detour through Oakland, CA., my cars say they are in Ogden and out for delivery. I sent them 2 day air with FedEx.
Hopefully, they will drop them at Skippy's without requiring a signature.

UPDATE - Cars DELIVERED!!!!

I wonder if it would be possible to delay the start time of the racing until after Saturday mail delivery. That may get a few more cars that are still in transit. Mine is currently listed as en route with predicted Saturday delivery /images/boards/smilies/frown.gif

We will not start until the mail runs on Saturday if there are boxes still out. Now Monday delivery is out of our hands.

OK that's great, thanks!

Now here is my other question. I know it can be a complication to have cars registered and entered in the race queue which then are not present. I have been holding off on registering mine at NPWDRL website not knowing if they would get there in time.

Is it better for you if I register them now or wait to get a status update from USPS that they are out for delivery tomorrow ?
