The Google play store has a few apps that measure vibration. I downloaded two, one that gives you x,y,z and vector. The other gives you vector and something to compare to like broken dishes.

Have any of you used them ?

I don't know how much it will pick up on the tracks that have dynamat or something similar.

This only comes up because of other threads.
One more variable to keep up with, maybe useless info.

Sorry, I don't have a answer. Everytime I respond to a thread of such name, I get scolded and am asked to keep it clean.

On a serious note, this is for your phone? I'm guessing if you could some how set phone on track could measure. I'd guess it'd work better on an undampend track. interesting thought process.

Too cool, an app for detailed measurements of micro vibrations...

Are you kidding me!?

They finally have a Micro Vibration Detail Meter app?!!!

Thank goodness!

Sign me up!

I downloaded it and put it on my phone, then it broke!! I left it on when I put it on my night table. /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif Actually that would be a great for testing wheels if its that sensitive enough! I'd probably go by speed on my track though. What if a person without a track mounted it to his car and spun the wheels with a dremel?
