Now that the track is not moved much and is more consistent. We should have a 2.97 badge right? Just about everyone is sub 3. Then we move to 2.98 badge, but skip a 2.97 badge and go to a sub 2.96 badge(which, I have not seen one for 2014)About 90% of racers are between the 2.98-2.96. It would be nice to have another split in the times. What do you guys think? I vote YES!!! I think it's long over due.

Brain I think there is a Sub 2.97 badge that several people earned from the last race.

I will have to check the results but I don't think anyone has hit the Sub 2.96 in Street Stock yet so what would be the reaon to skip the Sub 2.97 badge. If I'm missing it I am sorry.

The track is definitely faster now. I do think the badges should match the degree of difficulty. I cannot fathom what it will take to run sub 2.96 in SS. QT, Skippy, and a few others are right on the edge. I believe that sub 2.97 on the current track lines up real close to what was once 2.98 on the old track set up. I felt like the new track had more to do with my breaking sub 2.98 than my own effort. Sub 2.97 was a real struggle. I want that sub 2.96 now! Badge or no badge, that is the new goal. Yes, I'm delusional!

I was hoping for that sub .960 badge. I guess it will have to wait a month. Missed it by .0004

Correct me if I'm wrong, but nobody has gone sub 2.96 in SS? As an avg. over 4 runs with the track in the new place. QT has been the closest in the October finals. So about 1/2 of the racers are in the .96 to .97 range and the other 1/2 in the .97 to .98 range.

(I know its easy for some, but) I was able to break 3 with my BASX car (first time ever) and be sub 98 with my SS (also a 1st). Have to thank a lot of folks here for that, but in particular, Ice, Hurricane, and TRE, who all gave me a good swift kick in the a$$ when I needed it.

Rocket - sub 2.97 badge already exists I've just earned the sub 2.98 badge and requested Reso for it. Aiming for the sub 2.97 badge in the finals.

I don't know what you guys are talking about I have one! (ok ok, I made it and sent it to john to see if he wants to use it till he gets one made- no reply back yet)

Congrats there Regal!!!!!

Ok, only the Iceman has the CUSTOM badge. I just need the special recipe for it. So it does kind of exist.

The sub 2.97 badge is fastest badge in SS, besides the track record badge. Keep in mind that is only one run and not an avg. We can have 2 different people at the top.

Yeah you definitely notice when QT posts, he fills the whole screen. /images/boards/smilies/wink.gif I guess he could drop the slower "sub##" badges. I know depending on the year some of those were probably harder to get then others.

I agree there should be a SS sub 2.97 badge.

I like the idea of having a badge for every hundredth (.01).... sub 3.00, sub 2.99, sub 2.98, sub 2.97, and sub 2.96

In the prelims in October for cars (not builders) in SS am and SS pro combined there would have been:

sub 2.97 - 23 5 am / 18 pro
sub 2.98 - 30 13 am / 17 pro
sub 2.99 - 7 2 am / 5 pro
sub 3.00 - 5 1 am / 4 pro

This way by looking at ones badge you can see where they are running.
Granted, most are running sub 2.98, but close to the same amount are running sub 2.97.

You get an A for your homework.
