What doesn't Work?

I bet allot you have a stash of it somewhere? Everything your house is really shinny? Nothing ever squeaks? And odds are good that the car really shines!

In pinewood derby racing it naturally takes allot of R&D to excel. So in the garages of allot of you (probably gathering dust) are products that either just didn't work or showed no benefit. If you are open to it please share it. Waxes, lubes and polishes. This would save allot people allot of time and $ next time they go to the auto parts store! Who knows maybe the next big speed secret will be found quicker if people aren't wasting their time with what doesn't work. Just an observation from a newbie.

I think it's a fantastic idea but keep it simple. John has the DVD and products to make each of us very competitive. Buy what he has and you won't be out much, comparatively. I've spent a lot on products and continue to do so. Even if I shared with you what didn't work for me, it may for you or if I shared what does work for me, it may not for you. This recently happened. So what have you used that has or hasn't worked for you?

Hey JackJaw, Welcome to the forum!!! If you order John's DVD he actually shows a ton of products that don't work. And some will not share of what doesn't work do to time and money they've put in. I just read the other day what one of the winners used, found it in a post. If you go with what you've read on here and John's products you could easily be in at least the top 10. Now I'm no Pro yet and still play around with a few things but the general consensus of what products to use is pretty open.

However I would like to share one product that I had problems with

I use this stuff all the time! (just not on derby cars) Although, you did just give me an idea.
