What to do in your Pinewood retirement? (warning: Pic intensive)

Here's the YouTube upload;
EDIT: No YouTube upload. Youtube just slapped me for using a copyrighted soundtrack.

Dang those youtube bots are quick at catching copyrighted content! I thought I'd have at least a few days before the notification hit! The video is still viewable on Googledrive for those that care to watch.

Great video. I love the Frankenstein looking car taking all comers. A RatRod car might be next year's design for us.

John (IAE Racing),
I wanted to make sure you know that per our last discussion, your entry fee for this month's league race is covered as part of your prize from the "guess the time" contest. I sent it in to John H a week or so ago via PayPal.

Please let me know either way that you did or didn't get that.
Chris.

Sorry gang...Desktop took a dump on me, and I just spent the better part of the last week and a half reinstalling and upgrading my OS and software.

Keeping to the thread title, I'd like to give the early view of the next "retirement project" I'm working on. I had hopes of having it done and functioning at the pack races, but life got in the way. This is as far as I got before packs...anybody got a guess what it supposed to be when it's grown up?

My guess would be a scaled down replica of the hover board off of Back to the Future part 2? One things for sure- that block appears to defy gravity!

Hi Chris,

Loved the video!

Is the hole in the middle for a tungsten rod?

Ha! You got one up on the guys that said that was where the ouput for the flux capacitor will be routed through. They are just dreaming. That hole was where the handlebar used to be...and where the third hoverboard levitron cell will be repositioned to.

Loved the video!

Thanks! I get inspired once in a while. I hope to get my video editing software loaded so I can do more!... Oh yeah, and "no" on the tungsten rod, but good guess.

Today is the District and Council championship races for the Aloha Council. I believe there are a handful of board members racing today. There are also the handful of kids that we helped over the last few months. To all the racers...

Live long and Prosper!
