I'm going to bet that it's the same as a fenderless SS car. The .4 added to each wheel isn't going to account for much. I bet the top BASX car goes nearly 2.980. 2.983 maybe? The lack of fenders will be the difference. IMHO. We'll see how far off I am on the 31st! lol!
Several pros have indicated that they will be in that class for this event. I would expect them to bring their "A" game as always.

With the times my BASX is running I think my car will be in the high 2.987Low 2.99 . It will be tough to break 3 SEC. With the wheels and bodies without fenders. Just keep in my my fastest SS fastest time is a 2.9725. I would say most BASX will be in the high 2.99 to 3.10. I will only be running this class this event being its a PROMO.. Good luck guys ..

I nearly cracked Sub 3, I was knocking on the door. I know I said I would bow out after this inaugural kick-off race for this BASX class, but it was too much fun. And too not run in this class again... best challenge yet! Maybe once I crack the Sub 3....
Someone like Kinser or QT will eventually hit 2.989s. Probably John could also. Free entry to next event to the first one that does it.TRE said:

I dont think John's intention was for this class to be entry level as much as an economic class for people. It is the cheapest class to get into.
Odd I Understand That May Be The Idea Of The Class, But I Would Rather Be On The Heals Of The Very Best Than Winning Agsinst Average Cars (I Have A Ways To Go Before I Can Do Either)
