Wheelbase

My first cars in the fireseries ran with 5.25" wheel bases and was thinking of shorting to 5inches for the next basx race. Thought s on best wheel base for basx class.

Why are you guys not putting them all the way to the front since you don't have to fit fenders in front of them?

This thread may prove relevant for those looking to unravel the wheelbase question.

Short version: A shorter wheelbase keeps the wheels on the curve longer and provides slightly more energy out of the incline. A longer wheelbase provides more stability and is easier to tune.

My first car was also at 5.25. I have since shortened it to 5 for more speed but it still keeps the stability.
