Alright I have a street stock car and a street pro car I'm going to send in, my question is after prepping wheels and axels when I hold the axel in my hand and spin I hear almost no noise after I install on the cars and roll down the kitchen table they make a whinning noise, I thought they would be silent just like spinning them by hand, am I wrong?

I can't figure it out it's hard to tell which one its coming from or if it's all of them. Hate to send in two cars that won't make it down the track
hmmm

If you follow the basic setup you will be fine. Watch the videos of the the npwdrl kick off and listen to the cars in the Street stock class. Fired ups cars make the noise the loudest. Compare if it is the same type of noise, if you were to speed yours up.

I think Quicktime is right.

When you have good alignment with your dominant wheel and a bent axle the outer tread with the ridges make that noise. That is usually a GOOD sign that you are doing it right. Every fast car I have ever seen makes that noise with a stock type of wheel. Don't worry..... I'm racing next weekend and after 3 years I still cant get it right no matter who helps me. Maybe I will just go be a cheer leader...

I'll have competition for you in the jet engine sound category ! Tried out a new Unlimited today and it sounded pretty realistic to me. If the bearings don't fall out it will at least provide some entertainment !!
lol

If you spend the fluting on some 600 grit sand paper not enough to take the fluting off it will take the vibration of the fluting out & wheel will be much quieter
shhh
