Work charity car

Well my work is hosting a charity fundraiser race for the local BSA. Here is the car I build for them to enter. It's racing on a plastic outside guide rail track. Hope this thing does the job. It was a battle being that they just ask me to build it 6 days ago.

HA Six days is a walk in the park for you brother...you should of had them let you build it while getting paid at work haha. Nice build. Anyway you can video the race? I have never seen a race on that style of track??

The race is tonight at Stephen Wade Cadillac. I think it starts at 7pm. I will not be there do to having a local pack race at the same time.

Thanks guys I like the way it turn out. I wrapped it last night at about 10:00 prepped the wheels and axles. Broke a wheel just threw another one in I had laying around. It should still be OK but being the track that its on I hope that it just holds up. (Crash house)

Just got back from the Mayors charity race and Quicktime's car cleaned up!

Ran a bunch of times in the 2.95-.97 range...only car to break 3.00.

I was supposed to build a car for one of the local mayors,but he didn't show,so I just watched 'cause I didn't want to fork over the $250 entry fee.

After the races I did get to run my car down the track a few times (no timers),and Quicktimes car got me by about 2-3" each time....just wait til next year!/images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif

I feel left out, u southern utah boys posting without me... Just tuned my cars and put them in the legends... Cant wait to b at the race... Very good looking car quick time..Is it another vinyl car..

The way to tell if QuickTimes cars are wrapped with vinyl or not... is the ones he paints are Pink..

Thanks for the offer,but I don't think my car is quite ready for a 'rail runner' track...it tends to drift the opposite way needed.
But I'll definitely have a car or two ready for next month.
