    Sanding PTFE Tape

I've won plenty of league races with PTFE tape and did find it can get slicker. Microgloss and a coat of wax seems to do the trick. Not necessary, but it definitely gets slicker.

Used Items League Champion Cars for Sale

I'm looking to thin the herd and fund my son's travel baseball so selling the below cars. All cars made podium at the APR 2022 Championships, 7 first place winners, 2 2nd place winners (another of my cars were in first) and a 3rd. If interested you can send me a message through the forum or...

Matt can you share the rules for the race?

Can a bent axle be polished?

If you ordered all straight did you contact John that something was wrong with the order? Otherwise I'd listen to Mojo and use it for the raised wheel if you can.

3 wheeler or rail rider without bent axles?

Most likely you can fill them and redrill. We've used clear epoxy to fill and drill and even just used it to hold axles in when my son first entered scouts. Can't see why that's a problem, but check your rules.

    This got ugly...

You will get times of course and there are a ton of guys always willing to give feedback and guidance. Most of us love talking about PWD non stop and enjoy getting new people into the hobby. Do your best, send it in, make friends and ask questions. That's helped me a catch up pretty quick.

Billy's Red Neck Unorthodoxed Legend Box: Need Guidance Please

I have also had luck using a band saw to chop up the foam then I glue it back together to fit my cars. Ultimately I needed a method that made less of a mess and this worked for me. Not sure if you want to give that a try.

Billy's Red Neck Wheel Gap Tool

Rrr sorry if I missed something but I'm skimming your posts. There is no league racer running such a large gap. If you read back which i suggest you do there are much better ballpark numbers suggested and none are near .030'. Sure there are tons of variables but if yours includes a .030' you are...

Billy's Red Neck Wheel Gap Tool

If you both read through the forum you will see better recommendations for wheel gaps. That is about the gap most gap tools are and they are all too big.

Billy's Red Neck Wheel Gap Tool

TBR is right that is way too large, dont use it. Iirc credit cards tend to be around .030". That's too much for front or rears.

    Wheel prep and canting

Agree with the guys above, plus trued wheels are cheap and if your tracks set up well can be reused plenty.
