Cleaned wheels with fingernail buffing block....car was running 2.6611-20 now runs 2.683-2.69 on 32ft wood track.

Txchemist....my dehummidifer was unplugged in basement that was the only car that was sitting out the others were coverd and boxed!

Gravity x....DD axle and bore polish with red rocket followed byDD graphite!

I did re-apply....I was running out of time fast so taking car apart wasn't an option..we had terrible rain storm here that night..is there a chance change in humidity had anything to do with it?

They can only enforce that gauge if the tolerance of .170 is specified! Also I have tested both wheel .170-.180 very very small speed change if any. DD dynasty .180 are faster!

I recently purchased the DD4H Graphite.Great stuff defnatly made a difference in performance! I have question what is the best way to apply it on the axles when the wheels and axles are in place? I am having little diffuculty with the bottle its self! Might just be me..

Do you Graphite the inside of every wheel?

How about the 1 up wheel?incase the 1up makes contact with the track surface.

Is it a good idea to graphite the tread and inside rim of the steer wheel? Or any wheels?

@railrunner....The funny thing is her son didn't even race my son,different grades...She claimed that my car was not made out of a pine block because it was so thin and the wheels looked illegal.just because I put graphite on the steer wheel!

In my sons Council rules. The rules state you can sand the the the tread of the wheel but cannot shave and to be careful not to take too much off.What is too much and how would you know if there is no specified tolerance? How can they re-inforce this rule?

At my sons Pack race I had a mother demand that my son was disqualified and that the car was completly illegal....They inspected the car again and told her the car was ok!
