Wouldn't the difference in wheelbase be an equalizer? The shorter wheelbase car had had the heavier wheels but is on the "hill" longer VS the longer wheelbase and light wheels.

Greg, We are planning on sending in 3 scout cars and 4 kids car again. Is it possible to get the trophy we were shorted last year in the open kids. We never got it. Delaney is still asking me about it. Thanks Tom

A couple of our cars will be running the "diamond gee trailing fenders" for sure. Hopefully a couple more will be, if the order ever comes in. Does anyone know if there is a big difference between building balsa fenders and using the gee fenders John sells? Which is better?

Anybody know what size drill bit I should use for the Revell axles? I have several scout cars I need to drill Strict rules so I am going to use the Revell axles instead the dreaded nails in the kit.

If the drill table top has an imperfection in it, a longer bit has more of a chance to affect the drill job.

Ours was kids open 11th. All the others made it. It belongs to the sister of one of our scouts. It was her first car. I was surprised it did that well, it was last minute and I broke a wheel tuning
