I also go to 12,000. ngyoung- I have used those same papers from Hobby Lobby and noticed they leave a film. They work fine, you just have to really clean your axles good with alcohol when done. Good to see you on here Dew!

Fastest graphite car I ever had, I prepped in May and ran for the first time the following January. I used John's bore polish and Rocket. I used Pledge on the axles too. Car took Pack and then rank at Districts.

They don't pull the axles, but they check the heads. You can't see my tips because I epoxy my slots and drill holes.
