I agree with you Bulldog, 100%. The speed badges were always something to strive for. Each time you reached one plateau it made you work all that much harder to reach the next.

After buffing and blow out I usually go back with one of those no scratch bore cleaners and give the bore a good going over. Might want to try that next time.

When you get my age you don't want to even think about dying, but if any of you are worried, feel secure in leaving any of your secrets with me. I'll be glad to pass them along when I get to that stage in life.

Damn, Paul and I thought I had a bunch of axles. Hope you keep them in some sort of plastic container. You did a good job on all the K-grooves. Looks like they are all in the center of the head. I've seen some come back, even from vendors, way off center.
