I did the same as down4derby. I used double sided carpet tape so the cubes stay where you want, then the aluminum tape to cover the opening. They don't move at all, yet you can rearrange as needed

What do you guys suggest to keep a "best track" from oxidation. Is waxing the track the way to go? What is everyone using? My test track will be going from the house to the garage soon and I want the track to have some protection. TIA Kurt
