1st in Bears and 2nd in Wolves

Oldest son won 1st in Bears and will be going to Districts next Saturday! Never lost a race, never had a close one.

Little Brother got a 2nd place finish in Wolves, very close racing. Car he lost to set track records it's last 4 runs. My little guy was so sad, nothing I could do to console him. Broke my heart. He won 1st last year and I just had to explain it was someone else's turn. His car was much faster than older brother's but the competition was much better.

Does your Wolf not go to Districts too? Hmm. I guess the District race would have to limit itself to 1st place winners only to keep the numbers down... No Council race between?

We do not have Council races. Only 1st place boy from each rank goes to district. So even though my youngest son was 2nd in Pack, since he was 2nd in Wolves he does not go to districts.

I don't have a problem with that, I know different districts do it differently.
