This is my entrance race. I have no idea how this entry will do. We are from Jupiter Fl.. & won our district & counsel race this year with a time of 2.487 on a shorter Best Trac. We are trying to collect some data & compare time to improve for next years Scout season.
See you at the track.
The questions will start flowing after that.

Jupiter 2.9

Jupiter 2.9 The car is Riddler. I can only hope it doesn't bang down the track, High hopes of breaking that 3.0 barrier,
Hence the team name Jupiter 2.9

Dang Jupiter... You had sub 3 until that last pass. Get that thing to settle down a bit and you'll get it next time... Decent showing first time out though. Nice job.

MAN, 3.0013 avg. so close. I don,t feel bad about that. I've got a couple of cars out there & was smart enough to start a history on paper so at least if I make a change I can back up. I started all my angles @ 0 except the steer.
Not sure what I.m going to change but tighten up the rear is in order.

I thought about that. It just seems counter productive to steer the rear but the rolling resistance would probably be better than banging down the track.
I'll try it and see.
Thanks

I can tell you this... look at close up pics of all pro cars... every axle, the DFW, the rears AND even the stationary NDFW have slots in the axles for fine tuning. My Basico (APR version of BASX) picked up speed from tuning the rears. Of course this was in the hands of an experienced league racer tuning for me for help but speed was found. You can even pick up a ten-thou just by the position of the raised NDFW. (Aero) Those slots on all 4 axles aren’t just there to assist in pushing the axles in.
If you have access to a track for tuning... a qtr turn here and there and results logged can be surprising.
Hope that helps. Post what you find!

I'm picking up what your laying down & I do look
I don't have access to a test track so since cars are relatively cheap to build I'm going with quantity to collect my data..
It just takes time to build up the stable.
Maybe 2020 I'll be able to give you guys a race.
