There is also the master of the nap, Opa Racing. His near fatal crash put him in a Zen like state and the Gods of Pinewood Derby revealed to him the process to bearing success. With his new skills, can he put an Air Jordan size move on the King and his Protege by season end....stay tuned?

I am afraid OPA won't do better than 3rd or 4th this time. Screwed up my bearings, got new ones, but they don't seem to perform like the old ones.
By the way, I delivered my cars to DD4H personally last week. Drove back to Denver, Hit a Deer on I80, took me another two days to get my car to Denver. Total damages (just found out today) are $8,000. Maybe I am too old to drive. ANY BODY WANT TO BUY MY ENTIRE COLLECTION OF CARS? PRICE IS $8,000.

Sold!! I'll Buy them. Real cars not wooden ones, that is.
You won't even need to fix the newly wrecked one. I'll take it smashed up.

QT, you should have bought my first wreck. It sold for 2000 dollars, a CTS 2012. Some one got a deal. Entire top was wiped out, but from the floor down was untouched. also it was a AWD. So engine, trany, diff, drive shafts were in perfect condition with 8000 miles. It was a 320 HP

The most recent was same model, but only right side of grill, right front fenderf and small dent in passenger door. Inside still perfect as was rest of car. Oh yes, moter area had small hole in radiator, but nothing else. I took it to best shop in town, since my cost is only 1000. Rest paid by insurance.

But since I am in the habit of wrecking cars this year, I will let you know on the next one.

I would hate to have to pay your Insurance for one month OPA !
I bet they are taking you to the cleaners !
You should just hire a driver...... It may be cheaper !

Well, my two cars should have arrived as well. I sent one street stock and one street pro. My first street pro build. I made them in July before I had to pack up and move 30 miles to a new place. I'm slowly getting better at drilling the holes, although I now I see I made some mistakes with these. They ran well last month at APR, though, so I'm crossing my fingers for the sub 2.97 badge. I don't have all my PWD stuff unpacked just yet and running with same prep from nationals, hopefully it holds up. Thanks to all for the helpful posts in this forum.
