Wanted to get something going about this years National Championships. This year, John has let us bring the Nationals out to the Midwest. Zeebzob has been kind enough to head this race up with the help of many of us and John will be here as well. The goal is to make this the biggest and best event ever! I traveled up to Milwaukee area yesterday to go with Zeebzob and look at the hotel that the race will be held in. The room is perfect for a race of this caliber. The hotel is a Holiday Inn Express and has been renovated in the past year. The best part about the hotel races is, if you also stay at the hotel, your room is only steps away from the race. I have been to similar races in the past and it's real nice to be that close to the rooms. There are also some nice restaurant choices very close to the hotel as well as a Target store. This location is also perfect for anyone wanting to fly in. The hotel is only 20-30 minute drive from Mitchell airport in Milwaukee. This race is open to each and every racer reguardless where they currently race and regardless what products they choose to run. We want to get back to having fun and racing they best racers in the country! There is going to be plenty of prizes and some great trophies. Racers not able to attend live will be able to proxy but if ever there was a race to come to live, this will be it! Race date is June 22, 2013 and the track will be up Friday afternoon for racers. There will be lots more info posted in the weeks to come but just wanted to get something up for anyone wanting to come live. Zeebzob will be in contact with the hotel manager about rates and he currently has 10 rooms blocked off. If we know there are more coming live, he can block more off. Hope to see a lot of you guys there. Everyone has asked for a true National Championship, this will be it. No excuses to not race this event.
