Got my Camaro in the mail today! Super excited. The only thing I'm not to happy about is the it is molded in orange. More weight in paint to get the color changed to what it want. I'm going to Arizona for a week after Christmas so time is going to be of the essence.

Pink must be a hard color to spray over orange

That's it now I'm going to put pink in the cars color combo!!! And call it Mrs. #2! It won't be anything new for you guys to get beat up by a girl car.

OK, here are your body choices for the Street Rod class. The Truck kit's proved to be to time consuming and difficult to mount. So you have three muscle cars to choose from. You don't have to buy from here on the link, all 3 cars are under $17. The cars must be made by AMT, and the 1/25 scale. You have to run one of these three.

Here is you Ford offering,

Here's the Chevy,

Here's the Mopar,

Hope you like them because that's what you got to choose from.

Is it fixed at exactly the same year as shown on the models above? I.e. can it be a year earlier or later ( my hobby shop had these models, but not the same year, but only one year difference.
I am writing this prior to ordering on line.

Are any other models OK if dimentions are the same?

Has to be one of these 3. 1 year can mean a lot of differences. Must be made by AMT.

The GTX is the longest. However if you see the area behind the rear wheel is where the extra length is. I believe all the wheel base's should be with a 1/8 of a inch. I don't believe that there is one body that is going to have a size advantage. This should be a great race, with the rule of 4 wheels touching this is going to be any-ones game.

I believe the GTX is slightly longer in wheelbase and overall length.

Cant run any worse that my melted GTX??? HAHA

What are the wheelbases plus/minus 1/8"? I am just trying to get a feel for how bad mine will run if I build one.

The shortest wheel base is the Mustang, the longest is the GTX. With a difference of .3 of a inch. and the Camaro is in the middle of that.
