2014 Girl Scout Race

Well, the Girl Scout Pinewood Derby Race was a BIG success! A heartfelt thanks goes out to my crew 3 Wheel Racing, TNT Racing, Shane, Rollie, Shanasi, Boy Scouts, and Greg and his son Andrew for helping me run the race. You guys were top notch!

The service unit awarded a whopping 47 trophies for Girl Scouts and Open Class!; for “Speed”, and two design categories: “Olympic Pride” and “Best Motor Vehicle”.

The Olympic Pride design award fostered some pretty creative pinewood derby cars. There were a few bobsleds, snowboard designs, carved Olympic rings, and a hockey rink on wheels.
