The Zeebzob Speed Shop is going to have another Proxy race on June 21st to get those bearing cars ready for the nationals. Thanks to Quadad we will be able to also run this race on a 63' long Best Track! We will be using Zeebzobs 3 lane, with all the upgrades, and add 3 sections to get to the 63'. I talked to DD4H about doing this and he thought it was a great idea to allow racers a chance to see what they can expect from their cars come nationals time. The date is set perfect to allow plenty of time between races so you can make changes to your car or just so you have plenty of time to ship your cars.

The race will again be streamed live on Zeebzobs site. Also, custom trophies will be given out for the #1 qualifier (TQ) and of course the racer that wins the mains.

This race again is open to anyone with a bearing car. We don't care what league you choose to race or what parts you choose to buy. This is a fun time for us and we want anyone out there to have the same fun.

I really look forward to seeing a lot of cars at this race batteling it out for the Zeebzob 63' title!

JUST ADDED!!!!!!

Just talked to Zeeb and we have decided to also run the new BASX class that John created. This seems like an awesome class and gets back to the, well basics, of pwd racing. I am even building a car for this class /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif So get those BASX cars built for the May NPWDRL event and then send them in to Zeebs for the 63' Natioanal pre-race. We will also be doing trophies for this class.

We are going to charge $5 per car this time to pay for trophies + other extras.

You still have 6 weeks till this event but it will come up fast! Please contact Zeeb or myself if you have any questions.

Please add Eliminator! I need every chance I can get to run down Todd!!

Well, I don't want to start another league...our main focus is bearings. That being said, I'm sure Todd wouldn't mind a one race challenge with you. But remember, this is Todd's home track so be careful what you wish for!

I hope to have a bearing car ready for this event. Just got my BASX wheels from John so I'll be in on that also!

BASX car has awsome red paint/clearcoat, with yellow wheels, assembly this weekend. Just need to name it! Perhaps Francis Soyer!

Sound's like fun Eric.

I'm in.

This reminds me of the match race circuit that used to be very popular in the 1960's and 70's in drag racing. The Pro drivers back then only had a few National events per year to compete in. So in between Nationals they would travel from track to track across the country to match race. No points were awarded, just cash and bragg'n rights.

Should we put in a third car as a filler, because it is a 3 lane track, or should we just run the two cars and let the computer decide the lane assignments?

Filler car?!?! I say you open it up to one more guy who want in. Who will this brave soul be???

(Just remember, the juice flows at the Zeebzob Speed Shop)

Guys,

Since this started as an Eliminator challenge I would like to keep it to an Eliminator theme.

I am not interested in racing in the BASX class at this time so winning a BASX car doesn’t interest me right now.

How about this for a new proposal:

3 Eliminator Cars, Hogan, myself, and one more.

$35.00 each to get in. Winner takes all and gets a set of John’s new Eliminator wheels in the color of their choice.

Thoughts?
