John (DD4H) will not be able to compete in this race. He ran out of time for building his new Eliminator due to moving his family. John has offered an additional $25 towards the pot for the winner. Cool move John, much appreciated!

It's nice of John offering $25 even though he's not going to race, but I think the pot should be made up of the people who are racing. That's just the way I feel.

Much thanks to everyone for a fun nationals warm up tune and race session today! It went very well and I cant thank the guys there enough for changing out that guide pin for me on one of my cars...
63 feet is really really long LOL!
But it helped a lot to see what that length looks like with cars running down, stability, and the kind of times cars put up at that length.
Now its planning and prep time for the main event.....Nationals!

Well the dust has settled and we have 3 great winners from yesterdays Tune Up Race. In BASX nobody was going to touch W&K! His car was flat out flying down the 63' track!
E3 laid down some great runs in the E3 Eliminator Challenge race. GS1 was right there but E3 just too much on his home track! Was a fun race to watch and congrats to Todd for the $175 DD4H ca$h.
Unlimited was next and is always a favorite at the Zeebzob Speed Shop. We had a great turn out with some of the NPWDRL's best cars in attendance. When the final race crossed the line it was your current national champ "Zeebzob" that took home the trophy! Actually Zeeb took 1st and 2nd with Goat Boy taking the 3rd. Great run Zeeb and congrats on a big victory!
This turned out to be a great event even with all the drama surrounding it. I would like to thank each and every racer for sending in and supporting the race. Everyone that was there live did a great job helping out to run the event. Now we are all going to turn our attention to the NPWDRL national's happening in 3 weeks. This race gave us a great chance to see what to expect in July.
