2015 Race #1 Results

I thought the primary goal of the Pro vs AM qualification policy is to keep the AM class approachable for new racers by forcing the fastest racers into Pro. Is that correct? If so - if its just about keeping the AM class truly AM, then anybody who wants to voluntarily race Pro should be able to race Pro, IMO.

Was there really an intent with this new Pro/AM policy to keep the Pro class exclusive to only the fastest racers - or is that an unintended consequence?

How long does a pro golfer automatically retain his pro status for winning a tournament? Maybe this type of thing would work here. If you place at a certain high place, [ to be determined] then you retain your status for a 12 month period , or whatever the big guy decides.

part of the appeal for me to begin racing here was to get the opportunity to compete with armatures first. But, I'm racing against my last months build now, just prepped so wheels tonight. If I prep the wheels and putt them in a plastic bag will they be hindered by doing them this early for the February race? I won't do axles until right before I send the car in.
