2016 Pinewood Derby Championships Info!!!

must admit I'm a little bummed we don't have the snail class this year, but time restraints dictated number of classes we can run. Is there any interest in a grudge/challenge snail race that we could run on test track Thursday....(zeeb I'm calling you out, unless your chicken) I'm guessing we could get about 3-5 guys involved and not take up too much track time from those testing for Nationals, $10 each into a pot going to the winner? I may even get a trophy made if enough interest

All the updated rules can now be found on the Mid America Pinewood Derby Website - www.midamericaderby.com

Would it be possible to show a rules changelog? I've reviewed the 2016 rules and don't see what's changed since last year. A changelog would be very helpful if included at the bottom of the rules page.

Thanks!

Why can't we have a snail race and the governor class? I don't think time is a mitigating factor.

Tell you what, Derby: count me in for the Snail race. It is the most interesting race there is. Let me know if it's a "go" with the other guys.

Governor class is on the schedule for Friday already?

I'm bringing my Governor car. First car I ever placed in the top 3 against the pros. Never mind that there was only three cars in the class that month.......lol

... and that's when you discover you're too slow to win in one class, and nowhere near slow enough to win in the other. /images/boards/smilies/confused.gif

That sounds like my luck.
