Well after watching the videos of the races today and not having "INVADER" be a total embrassment (fastest time 2.9490), I guess "INVADER 2" is really going to get built.
And for all the commenters that said Boo to graphite ... I was only 0.1000 behind some pro cars that I'm guessing ran oil and I hardly had any graphite in the wheels compared to the prep videos I've seen.

yes but a tenth of a second is million miles in this game you will never have a chance running graphite

gWebber, when I started building Pinewood Derby cars with my Grandson this year I read everything I possibly could from this site and others.With much knowledge gained and a lot of trial and error I found a tenth pretty easy (.1)....with the next couple of builds I found hundreds with not a lot of trouble (.01's)....the next couple of builds found thousands (.001's) more difficult, but attainable. Currently I am stuck at around 2.966 with a BASX set-up and find it very difficult to find even a couple thousands. It gets exponentially harder as you progress.
