3m dry type spray verses Jig

So I ordered some 3m spray because I saw some guys used it as an alternative to the Jig. I used the DD4h process for axles and boars and oil. I ran my car and could not break 3.0, after cleaning the same wheels and axles and doing the process again but my jig came in and I ran 2.97 ad 2.98 depending on what drift I was at while tuning. So in my opinion the jig is well worth the effort of finding it. does anyone else have the same or different results? Did I miss a step that 3m may require? Also should the wheels cure in a warm temperature with the red rocket?

I have a can of 3M spray but ive not used it.

I still use JIG. However, different people will let the JIG dry for different times....not sure if this has an impact in speed however I know it ranges from 10 minutes up to 24 hours from past posts.

And I know some have experimented with using heat to help "cure" the wax in the bore after the final polish but again ive not personal experience with it...

DEW36, do you use the 3m the same way as jig, maybe I did it wrong, thanks for the response.
I sprayed my axles and gave them a quick shake to remove the extra silicone and covered them. I left the axles dry for the same amount of time as my wheels for 24 hours. Hope this helps.
