A few questions about fenders.

I want to try fenders.

I've seen the fender video (I think DD4H) where he put rear fenders on a three wheel car and got better times.
I'm still using 4 wheels.
Which would be more beneficial?
A. Front fenders only
B. Rear fenders only
C. Front and rear fenders in front of wheels
D. Front and rear fenders with front trailing fenders
E. Front fender with blended front trailer/rear fender

Going a step further ... has anyone built the fender partially over the top of the car to cover the inside of the tops of the wheels; blending it all in smooth, of course.

Watch the monthly races. There are 3 a month to watch.
Some leagues even put pictures of the car line ups.
Just studying those you can get some answers.

Here is Bulldog's video on making fenders. Once you look at it step by step, I found it quite easy (especially the second time through) and satisfying. Making the fenders was actually the most enjoyable part of our build.

That is correct. I misread E.

Doing the trailing fenders is the best way to go. On every fender I make, I feel like it could be better, and there is a learning curve to it. Also, make sure the fenders don’t touch the track, like Gso125 said. There definitely is a lot of sanding, but it pays off in the end.
