You should charge for custom paint jobs and use the money for league racing.

I think to do it right, the materials cost would kill any profit for true "custom" work.

Now some pre-Drilled, pre-Painted (mass production custom, no to order), Plug & Play bodies for the "I have no skills" Dads out there might work.

This one wasn't airbrushed as I'm out of co2. Airbrushing can take some practice, but results can be awesome.

Given I'm working with a hand full of sh*t tools and spray paint, I think it's not too bad.
