I hope that everyone has been getting faster. It has been around six months since I visited this forum and I am happy to have returned. Thank you everyone who helped us last year and now the pressure is on.
Right after last year's Cub Scouts Worlds, I was offered a new job so we moved. We found a new pack and have been active and our race is at the end of Feb. We are finally closing on our house, and yes I checked to make sure that I could set up our track in the basement.
If all goes well I should have around two weeks to build a scout car. MY oldest aged out and is a Boy Scout so I am down to one racer this time.
This is a new pack (second year) so I don't think too many have much racing experience but there are around 50 to 75 scouts here and as you know anything can happen. Also the rules are a little different so I have to figure out the slight differences necessary.
I plan on placing an order at the shop but was wondering if anything interesting has happened recently.
