Hello Everyone,

I am new to the boards, but wanted to know if anyone had recommendations for applying an adhesive graphite treatment on (BSA) wheels and axles. I have seen wheels and axles for sale online that appear to have some type of adhesive graphite product on them (Hodges Hobby House for wheels), and several sites for axles with a graphite coating on them.

How do folks do this? I have seen EZ Slide in a can, but is there another way to apply a graphite-based adhesive coating on wheels and axles?

Thanks,

Scott

i was all set to smoke everyone, and to make a long story short, they were a complete wast of money. the idea is one that sounds good on paper, but flops hard in reality.
best graphite axles your can get are these.

There was a car at the man of the mountain race that had some kind of coating on them. I know the top 5 cars had no super special coating.

Save your money and learn the correct prep process, that's where most of the hidden speed is.
