Adult Pinewood Derby Race

Hello everyone,
We are having an adult pinewood derby race in Liverpool PA on January 30th 2016 at 1:00pm to benefit the Liverpool Fire Company. Our track is a 4 lane best track alumuminum will all the bells and whistles. Top notch track. We have two classes. The traditional class has the same rules as BSA and the outlaw class has very few rules and is pretty much wide open. Rules can be obtained from the Liverpool Fire company website's event calendar. http://liverpoolfirerescue.com/. Top 3 in each class will receive a very nice trophy. Ages 12 and up can participate. Cost is $10.00 to race for the day. There will be snacks and drinks available. the address is 309 North Market Street, Liverpool PA 17045. Out of curiosity, why limit a minimum age? If some guy comes out to race and his kid wants to enter a car too, why not let them?

Thanks you for wishing us luck. We did the minimum age thing for 2 reason. One we didn't want to upset the cub scouts in our area and the other is that we wanted adults or older children who couldn't race in cub scouts to be able to come out and race without the commotion of younger children around. We did think about that but decided to try it this way first and see if we could make it more toward the adult side. Thanks for asking.
