First of Thanks DerbyDad4Hire, you build some great products. Second thanks to Eastman racing for some great wheels. Third thanks to Greg at MA for putting on such a great event. Congratulations to Ballastic and derbydentist on your kids runs we are very happy to have even been so close.
Please everyone that reads this remember one thing from this post. READ and then Read done more. I don’t post much put I have learned a ton on here.
My kids and I have built 10 cars total. They have won every race at the pack level. Our first year placed 4th at districts, second year placed 2nd at districts. Third-5th year never lost at race at districts to a scout legal car. Last year we went to MA and made the top twelve in scout open oil. Finished 12th. Also brought home a 3 rd in kids open oil last year. We did all this WITHOUT a test track only a makeshift tuning board. This year a friend let us test and we gained some knowledge and speed. So this year we were back at MA and took third in scout open oil and won the kids open oil. I have some pictures of the stable of cars. From left to right is how they were built. The first one is of my sons scout cars the second is of my daughters teams cars in the open division. Thanks to everyone on this board we appreciate the information.
