Any Suggestions On How To Make Tungsten Putty From Tungsten Powder?

I bought some Tungsten powder at a good price. I'm planning on filling in holes with it, but I thought it would be great if I can make some putty out of some.

I bought some polymer oven bake clay, but that breaks apart too easy and doesn't hold the tungsten well. Any ideas on what is used at the putty in tungsten putty?

Wow 1reason,
You are really getting in there.
It feels like plasticine or Sculpy but these are just guesses.

On the video they posted last week showed the guy building a car.. It showed something on it about Tungsten powder and I want to say how he did it maybe? He filled the back of the weight pocket with it.. On the package you bought did this not have anything on how to mix this stuff?

AHHHHH! The directions!!!

I never seem to think of those until after the fact.

It says to mix with 30 minute epoxy.

For fine tuning putty it says to use non hardening putty like Play Doh.

Thanks, yeah, I caught the bug that's for sure. Received my silver bullet today too.

We may not have food on the table at night, but we will have a fast pinewood derby car at districts

The stuff I bought was made for lab work. It's not a powder per se, but more like grains of sand (maybe that's normal for tungsten "powder"??)

so I didn't get instructions and the guy I bought it from was surprised (I think) I was buying for pinewood derby cars.

What is this word you speak of called "directions"?

Hunger pains are merely temporal.

Derby glory will be celebrated with song for generations!!!

If you are using Sculpey, you have to kneed it for a few minutes; it does crumble at first but wont after a few minutes of working with it but it will then stay pliable until you bake...if you choose to bake. I have no experience with how it holds the powder however.

Thanks, I will try working it more.
