Any Testing of other products?

[font="times new roman, times, serif"]I have been doing a lot of reading here on the forum, lots of cool topics and I am learning a ton. Thanx for that. My question is does anyone buy and try any other products out there? The guy for shop Velox is all over the place with his stuff not to mention all of the other folks out there with their products. The guy from Velox did a graphite test comparison of 5 different types and although it was neat to watch not sure if it works and so how much money do we spend finding out what is actually the best to use? it would be interesting to see one of DD4H's cars go up against the Velox top car???[/font]

Glad you are finding good info on this board. The best and fastest PWD racers in the world are on this board and give great tips and advice. With that being said, I will tell you right now that the Velox guy, who sells "Derby Dust" would never stand a chance against a DD4H prepped car. If I were you, all you have to do is buy John's video and save yourself a ton of time and money and just follow it. If you want to spend a ton of time and money, then by all means, test new products. Most of us just don't have the time and money to do good enough testing. The 3 years i have been racing, i have yet to see this "Shop Velox" guy even race a car in league racing. You would be surprised to see how bad he would lose to the daddio. Enjoy your time on here and welcome aboard.

You have already found the best, forget the rest! I won "The Man of the Mountain" Championship with the products DerbyDad4Hire sells and the info you have access to here. The guys here are the fastest in the world, period!

I agree with Goat. The reasons he and others can make "FASTEST"claims is because they have not raced in a league setting. I have never lost a scout race with my boys. I thought that league racing would be just as easy. Boy was I wrong! I have only been around here a short time and have tried most the others fastest contraptions, and all I can say is your in the right place to building the FASTEST cars around. If you havent got the oil process DVD from DD4H get it. I applies to both oil and graphite with a few slight tweaks. If you have any questions continue to ask, the guys around here have a ton of knowledge.

Our family is undefeated for the last 3 years in our state for Awanas and won everything in scouts when we were in that. We have yet to win a race against the guys on this board. So, to agree with what has been said before: to be the fastest you have to beat the fastest.

Derbydad4hire beat all comers in every class for about 3 or 4 years. No one else has that record. The ones who are fast in this league now, are using his products and secrets.

You have come to the right place for speed!

I used those same "other" products last year with my grandson. He won the district and Council down in Arizona, so I entered his car in the league referred to above. Out of 37 entrants, he came 36th. Using the same car, but re-preped with DD4H products, the car went from a 3.050 average to a 2.993. That's 7 inches on a 42 foot track. I bought the DVD from DD4H, and followed it to the letter. Do likewise.
