THEY SUCK!!!! Looking at the bores under the magnifying glass they stink. They must twist and put them out of the mold in the factory. I can not get the scratches out with John's #1 polish. Any other suggestions??? Or just leave them?? Thx in advance.

Chances are if you can't get them out neither can anyone else, so the fields somewhat leveled.

Try Novus #3, but that might just remove too much.

Are you allowed grooved axles ? That might help ,since your contact area is just at the ends of the hub.

I will try the novice 3. I have already grooved the axles.

Test it first. When I used Novus #3 on a test wheel, it just made more scratches.

Instead of trying to buff or polish out the scratches, why not build up a few coats of wax to help minimize the scratches?

I think the combination of a little more buffing(4-5 times) and more waxing (3 coats) seems to be the best. Still not perfect.

So what did you find out? I've tried polishing them with mixed results. What are you buffing them with? I thought about trying simichrome but haven't done it.

A little more buffing with Johns #1 polish. Use larger axles DD4H .094s and your good.
