Ok I read all the post in Axel Cant and am confused even more that ever! Maybe I am missing some post or something.

Positive Cant ??
Negative Cant??

Guess I just need thing simpler. Does the Wheel lean toward the car from the top like this or way for the car body like this /?

I am more visual type person so a picture would help more.

Sorry to be the new guy in the group but I'll learn.

So this means if i am looking at the back from the back it would look like this
/- and if I am looking at the front it would look something like |-/ ?

Or Better yet one raised wheel in front and the DFW riding on the of the wheel where the letters are. The rear riding on the inside where mold number is?

Cool Now what way is positive and what way is negative?

/= Positive and
= Negative

Axel holes .25 from the bottom of the car?

you have it right, rears are considered negative and front positive. I think you will find different opinions about how far up to drill the axle holes. Some drill the same and some drill them at slightly different heights.

W Racing has some good tips in this thread: http://forums.derbydad4hire.com/post/Going-4-Sub-3.0-by-Wracing-5597549

I think .25" is too high...

Cool thanks for the info. I think Ill work with my silver bullet and drill a few holes in a block of wood and see what work.

wont you drill a hole in the bottom of your block at 2 deg. angle ?

If you're an eighth inch up, then no, a 2 degree hole shoudn't break thru the bottom of the body. You only need to run the bit in as far as the axle goes plus a little extra so the axle doesn't bottom out.
