One last question for you guys. I will be using the BSA Xtreme Speed axles from DD4H. Do these need to be polished starting with the 400 grit sandpaper and work all the way to 12,000 grit or do they come already polished and just need Zero Friction Axle Polish to finish?

Yes, but I usually start with Micro-Mesh 1500 and go to MM 12000.

I start with 2000 and work my way up to 12,000 then polish. Some start at 2500, you do not want to remove to much metal from axle. Get the Oil DVD from DD4H if you don't already have it.
