Well...I dont know if I would call it racing or not haha. I do however participate!! I usually bring up the rear after all there are guys that have to beat someone! At least that is what I keep telling myself. I just do not have the time to focus on all the little details of this cool sport. I am sort of a single dad by that I mean my bride works nights and so we take shifts with the three kids. One just turned boy scout and the other two are 2 and 4 years old. I am also in the military and I am leaving today for military duty for 2 1/2 weeks then I will have a couple of days before I fly out to Nationals.(WOOHOO). Regarding badges, well I just have not earned any yet. My last car might have but my son and I inadvertently built it upside down and the wheels migrated into the body of the car slowing it down WHOOOPSE! I have a few cars registered for nationals and just maybe if I get lucky or find some Xtra time to devote I can get myself one of those little badges...or if I were Mr. Chips I'd rather have a chest to pin it on
blah
rofl

PS: as far as the number of posts I have...well lets just say that my mouth is much faster than any of my cars hahaha

Well

I do like the trash talking humor you and Mr. CHIPS bring to the forum. It is entertaining for sure.

P.s. only raced once with one car. So I can't have any more badges.

HAHA I try to do all of these but its like DD4H tells me.." you are not slow! Everyone else is just faster."
lol
But given the choice I would choose a faster mouth than car...It is way more fun every day not just once a month HAHAHA

There are lots of ways to participate on this forum and at the NPWDRL races, some run for speed, some run for fun and some run their mouths, give advice and keep the board active and fun.... any of these methods are #1 in my book.

Thank you Gravity X. That's perfect. When you say dremels are not running you just meaning for the picture correct? I assuming both have to spin to get the even groove around the whole axle. Thanks

The two Dremel method is very quick, as mentioned it takes about 2 seconds or less to cut a groove into the axle, any longer than that and you may have a 2 piece axle.
wah
NOT a desirable feature. This method may not be for everyone, but the same could be said with the jeweler's file, not for everyone. Use whatever may best suit your tool set or skill set.

Why not just use a jewelers file???

hmmm

WOAH!!! Hold up! You earn 1 stinkin badge and you get to talk smack

Just wait! My badge(s) are coming, then I'm coming for your 2.98 and then some.
